Gmail Is Down Globally, Google Confirms

According to reports from some users, Google’s email service, Gmail, appears to be unavailable worldwide.

Down Detector also showed that the number of complaints had increased since around 10 a.m., with over 2000 reports to date.

Twitter is full of users complaining about the platform.

The outage appears to be worldwide at this point, although there are still some who have said the platform will work for them.

Some users have said that the problem is with sending attachments that upload very slowly.

The Google Apps status page has also been updated to indicate that they have received these complaints and will follow up by 1:30 p.m. “We are still investigating this problem. We will provide an update by 8/20/20, 1:30 p.m., which will state exactly when the problem should be fixed, “the message says.

It’s unclear what caused the problem at the moment and why Gmail isn’t available, but it has created a lot of problems. Some users say they can’t send email, while others say they are having trouble working because of the problem.

The platform is important to most users right now as almost everyone works from home and email is one of the few ways to communicate.
