WhatsApp To Add Multiple Devices Support Soon

See How It Will Work.

WhatsApp is currently working on ‘Multiple Devices’ support feature, means the feature may come anytime soon.

Earlier this year, WhatsApp launched its most awaited feature – the dark mode.

However, we just got to know how this feature will work when it will be released.

You cannot use the same WhatsApp account on more than one device at a time because WhatsApp currently supports only one device at a time.

But, then the company launched ‘WhatsApp Web‘, but for this, you need to put your mobile close to the laptop or PC.

But, With support for multiple devices, you will be able to access your WhatsApp on different devices at the same time!

How it will work

As per the report of WABetaInfo, this feature will be named ‘Linked Devices’.

Currently, WhatsApp is testing this feature with support for up to 4 devices.

You will be able to access the Linked Devices in the settings menu of WhatsApp just below the ‘New Broadcast’.

The interface is same as the WhatsApp Web section on the app.

Moreover, under this section,

  • You will be able to see the numbers of devices on which your WhatsApp account is active on
  • You will also be able to link a new device to your WhatsApp account from this section.
  • Plus, you will also be able to log out from linked devices under the Linked Devices section.
  • Also, you will be able to see more details like the last active time.

We all have been hearing about multi-device support on WhatsApp for months but according to the latest update, the feature is almost ready.

As we all know that WhatsApp took very long to roll out dark mode so we can’t really tell when this feature will be rolled out.

We will inform you as soon we get further info on the feature. You can also subscribe to our Newsletter for instant updates on Tech News directly in your mailbox.
