According to a report by The Verge, Twitter seemed to be testing the Edit button but it turned out to be a bug. Lol.
“Twitter seems to be testing a neat way to edit tweets. If you delete a tweet when you reply to someone and then go to reply again it brings the old text back so you can correct your typo”, tweeted Verge’s Tom Warren.
But on Sunday, the company shattered the hopes of Twitter users and called it a bug.
The so-called bug seems to be found on Twitter’s iOS app.
Editable Tweets are something that Twitter users have been looking for and asking Twitter to implement.
Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, reports that Twitter “probably never” would introduce an edit button.
However, Twitter recently rolled out other coveted features including providing the response limiting feature to all users to give users more control over their conversations.
