As reported by 9to5Mac, Twitter is planning to explore new options for the app icons and splash screen, at least on iOS.
The company has sent a new survey to Twitter Insiders asking for feedback on new app icons.
In addition to the current app icon, the social media platform has provided three new icons.
“Please take a look at the app icon design below. This is an example of a Twitter app icon that would be shown on your phone screen. We’d like to ask you a few questions about this design, ”the company wrote.
However, it is not confirmed whether the company would replace the current app icon with one of the new icons or offer all of these icons as a collection.

In addition to app icons, the company is also reportedly working on a brand new splash screen. Check out the GIF below for an early overview of Twitter’s potential splash screen.
After all, there is no guarantee that Twitter would add these new icons and splash screen soon. Given the current circumstances surrounding the massive security breach, we may not see these visual changes in the coming weeks.
