Samsung Galaxy S11 With Second-Gen 108 MP Sensor

Samsung Galaxy S11 With 2nd-Gen 108 MP Sensor

  • Ice Universe says Samsung Galaxy S11 may come with a new 108MP sensor.
  • Samsung has developed the 108MP Bright HMX sensor in collaboration with Xiaomi.
  • The first phone to use the 108MP sensor is the Mi CC9 Pro.

Samsung made a lot of noise on the market this year with the launch of its Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series. And now the Samsung Galaxy S11 allegedly contains a 108-megapixel sensor Samsung SOCELL Bright HMX, which the popular Smartphone manufacturer had previously developed together with Xiaomi.

Samsung also claimed the sensor was the first sensor on the Smartphone market to exceed 100 million pixels. However, a new leak suggests that Samsung will use a completely new and unknown 108MP sensor for the Galaxy S11.

This information about the Samsung Galaxy S11 sensor has been leaked by a trusted Leaker, @UniverseIce on Twitter, who has tweeted today that the Samsung Galaxy S11 is “ high probability of using a new 108MP sensor“. However, there is no further information about what this sensor will look like and what features it will contain.

However, it is expected that the new sensor will be upgraded to an existing second-generation Samsung sensor, offering better image and video processing capabilities. It is also very likely that the sensor will be improved to capture more light in poor lighting conditions for better camera performance.

Apart from the leak that surrounds the camera, there are already reports that shed light on an important specification of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 – the display. According to leakages, the Samsung Galaxy S11 seems to have a bigger screen (20: 9) than any other display we’ve seen on a Samsung flagship.

With the Samsung Galaxy S11 2020 being Samsung’s flagship Smartphone in the flagship segment, users around the world are eagerly awaiting it and expectations for the phone are high.
