A Brief Description Of Samsung W20 5G Foldable Phone
Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G is expected to be on the market in November 2019 and running on Android 9. The Smartphone will be available in two color options. The Smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7nm) 2.84GHz octa-core processor.

The News
A few hours ago, some leaked images showed Motorola’s much-anticipated 2019 Moto Razr phone. While Motorola seems ready to bring back the legendary flip phone with a new foldable display technology, Samsung also seems to be working on a foldable flip phone. The Samsung W20 5G is expected to be the company’s second foldable phone after the Galaxy Fold, and its launch is imminent following a new teaser from China Telecom.
Samsung’s W20 5G will replace the flip phone W2019. Unlike the W2019, which offers a traditional flip-phone design with a keyboard, the W20 5G offers a clamshell form factor, with a foldable display covering the entire area. The W20 5G will flip vertically and there may be a second screen on the cover. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
Samsung will probably use the same Infinity Flex display on the W20 5G as the Galaxy Fold. Samsung announced the Galaxy Fold earlier this year, but problems with the flexible display and hinge design delayed its launch until the second half of 2019. Fold is available in limited quantities in India for 1.65 Lakhs rupees.
Since Samsung usually launches its W series flip phones only in China, it is not clear that this will change with the W20 5G. Samsung may launch the W20 5G worldwide.
Both the 2019 Moto Razr and the Samsung W20 5G are expected to hit the market in November, although an exact date is still unclear. Both companies will try to get a lead in the race. So you can always expect an announcement from one of them.
Samsung Galaxy W20 5G Specifications
- Rumors say that the Samsung Galaxy W20 5G will be a flagship with high-end specifications, which probably includes the Snapdragon 855 SoC.
- The teaser video, which was shown at the SDC event earlier this week, suggests that the new Galaxy foldable phone has a hole display for the selfie snapper.
- The top screen can be used to play videos while the bottom screen becomes the keyboard.
It is also possible that Samsung will present the Galaxy W20 5G at an event this month and present it later, presumably at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020. In both cases, we should hear more details in the coming weeks.
- The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a large 7.3-inch display with a hinge in the middle to flip it to the side.
