If you do not wait for the message to end and want to
connect to the caller immediately, there is a way out.
The Indian government has ordered all
telecommunications operators to set a 30-second audio clip as the default
caller tune for their subscribers. The caller tune aims to raise awareness of
coronavirus and inform users of measures to prevent them from becoming victims
or spreading the deadly disease.
The call will not be connected until the 30-second
audio clip has finished playing. However, users have not appreciated the fact
that the caller melody plays every time they dial a number and creates
obstacles in an emergency. Unlike Airtel and some other telecommunications
companies, Jio connects the call while triggering the coronavirus alarm.
If you do not wait for the message to end and want to
connect to the caller immediately, there is a way out.
To skip the Corona Virus message from Airtel,
Vodafone-Idea, Jio, and other telecommunications operators:
- Dial the number.
- Wait for the message to start, then
tap 1.
- After pressing 1, you will be
forwarded to the original caller melody when the call is made.
There is currently no way to prevent the message from
being repeated each time you call. This means that users must follow the steps
above to skip the Coronavirus warning message.
The 30-second audible alarm sounds with a coughing
sound, followed by a message asking people to take precautions, such as washing
hands with soap, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, users
can reach the nearest healthcare facility or call the hotline number
011-23978046 for more information.
We do not recommend our readers to skip the Coronavirus warning message and only perform the above steps in an emergency.
