Here Are the Best ATT Prepaid Plans

ATT is currently offering a selection of prepaid phones and plans under the ATT Prepaid brand. (You may know the previous GoPhone brand for prepaid phones, but ATT rejected that name some time ago.) Out of the topic, you can now get ATT outage map from the ATT support center.

The brand is also currently selling a number of cheap prepaid Android phones. If you already own a GSM-based network telephone, you can also sign up for a prepaid tariff of the operator.

Let’s take a look at AT&T’s best prepaid offerings. You can choose between plans with a limited amount of high-speed data, plans with unlimited data, or even plans without data.

BEST ATT PREPAID PLANS

1. Plans With Limited High-Speed Data

For $35 a month ($30 a month with the AutoPay billing option), the AT&T, in the US has a plan for unlimited calls and SMS. 1 GB LTE high-speed data is also bundled in the package. You also get support for mobile hotspots with LTE speeds, but they drop to 128 Kbps when their 1 GB of data capacity is over. With this plan, you can stream video at resolutions up to 1080p.

This plan also provides rollover data. If you do not use more than 1 GB of LTE high-speed data, anything left over will be carried over to the next 30-day billing cycle. If you do not have high-speed data before the billing cycle ends, you can continue to use the features of your Smartphone. However, the download speed is reduced to only 128kbps.

AT&T Prepaid also offers a plan for $50 per month ($40 per month with the Autopay billing option). It offers unlimited calls, text messaging and data as well as 8 GB LTE data. Again, you can use the features of your Smartphone if you do not have such high-speed data before the billing cycle expires. However, the download speed is reduced to only 128 kbps, including the number of mobile access points. This plan also adds unlimited calls from the U.S. to Mexico and Canada, as well as roaming in Mexico and Canada for calls, text messaging and data. At least half of the use of the plan must be in the U.S., so you cannot buy this data plan and then use it mainly in Canada or Mexico.

There is also an AT&T prepaid promotion that gives you the same 8GB data plan for only $25 per month. The catch is that you have to pay $300 in advance. That means you get 12 months service.

2. Plans with unlimited high-speed data

The next version of AT & T prepaid plans will cost $65 per month ($50 per month with the Autopay billing option). It has everything what’s in the previous plan and “unlimited” high-speed data. However, AT& T indicates that some customers may be temporarily affected at reduced speeds “in times of network congestion”. In addition, video transfer under this plan is reduced to 480p and cannot be increased to 1080p. And you will also have no mobile hotspot data with this plan.

Finally, AT&T’s most expensive tariff also offers an “unlimited” high-speed data plan for $85 a month ($70 a month at Autopay). This allows video transmission of up to 1080p when the Stream Saver is disabled. Users should not notice speed slowdowns unless they use more than 22 GB of data before the billing cycle ends.

In addition to supporting mobile access points, this plan also provides the subscriber with 10GB of high-speed LTE data per month for this feature. Once it expires, the data rate drops to just 128 kbps until the new billing cycle begins. You can also get discounts if you register two or more of these lines in one account.

For a limited time, the $85 plan includes free access to AT&T WatchTV. Usually this service costs $15 per month. This allows subscribers to broadcast more than 35 live cable TV channels and more than 15,000 movies and TV shows on-demand.

3. Other ATT Prepaid Plans

If you really want to use it, AT&T offers a prepaid rate of $2 per day, which costs only on the days the phone is used. It offers unlimited calls and text messaging, and you can add 100MB of high-speed data for an additional $1. There is also a plan that will charge you 25 cents a minute for speaking. For every SMS, 20 cents will be charged and you can buy data for 1 cent per KB. Both AT & T prepaid plans are aimed primarily at people who use their Smartphone only occasionally or in emergencies.

For $30 a month ($25 a month with the AutoPay billing option), you can sign up for a rate with unlimited calls and text messages in the US, but without high-speed data. This is perfect for people who just want to chat with other people on an old phone or maybe send a text message. These users can continue to add data to their plan for $5 per 250 MB as needed.
